How does BodyLipo Work?

Before the procedure, you’ll have a consultation with Dr. Kaniff. He can examine any areas of concern that you may have before fully explaining the process and creating your personal treatment plan. During the procedure, Tumescent fluid is inserted into the fatty compartment between your skin and muscle. The Tumescent fluid works to minimize blood loss with its combination of saline, lidocaine, and epinephrine to constrict blood vessels.

Fatty deposits can then be removed by Dr. Kaniff using a 2-3mm stainless steel wand, called a cannula. This procedure could result in a more sculpted and aesthetically-pleasing body. If desired, Dr. Kaniff can then use the removed fat to increase the volume of another area of your face or body.

Dr. Kaniff is a Board Certified Plastic Surgeon and Medical Director at Kaniff Cosmetic Medical Center located in Sacramento, California. Dr. Kaniff is a graduate of the prestigious Loyola University Stritch School of Medicine, Chicago, where he also completed his residency. His internship was served at LA County-USC Medical Center, Los Angeles. Dr. Kaniff’s training also includes a Fellowship at the world renowned McCollough Plastic Surgery Clinic.
